All lovely things fit into three neat little packages, er, categories.

Throughout this blog, I will continually feature fine art, antiques and collectibles that will fall into one of three categories: Have. Want. or Covet.


Have: Affordable works of art I have purchased on my buying trips. The majority of which will be up for grabs on my eBay and Etsy sites (more on that later...).


Want: Works of art that I am on the hunt to find! If there's a gap in my personal collection or online store inventory, I'll shout it out into the blogosphere and hope that someone, somewhere out there will save this damsel in distress.


Covet: Works of Art I dream about owning. le sigh. 

For instance, if we were talking about, say, this handcoloured engraving 'Marie-Antoinette de Lorraine - d'Autriche, Reine de France' , published Paris, 1828, you might think to yourself - 'surely, it would be logged in "Covet"'. Oh, but you would be wrong mes petits choux. I HAVE it on my bedroom wall.
