The last time I was at The Golden Nugget was when my parents took me and my sister on a "family" vacation to Las Vegas. I was 11 years old. Really, dad?!
The Golden Nugget Antique Market in Lambertville, NJ was a bit more tame than Vegas, but certainly didn't disappoint!
Despite the less than stellar weather, hundreds of sellers were ready to go!
I snagged some great deals on Vintage Movie Posters ($10 each), a ghostly daguerreotype with original antique case circa 1850s ($23), and a Japanese Yamatoku Porcelain Famille Noir Plate circa 1920s ($9!).
The daguerreotype was mostly a last minute impulse buy - the impulse being the cute guy with the great smile selling the photograph. I lost all ability to haggle on the price (he originally asked $25, I eagerly settled on $23). Oops.
